So…it has been awhile since I posted on the site, not because I am not writing, but rather I’m not typing up what I have written. I have entered into a piece that is a bit different for me. If you have been following my work you know that typically I write in a first person narrative. However, this new piece is written in the third person. It’s proving interesting for me to write, both as an author as well as an artist. The notion of writing in the 3rd was once thought to be out of my reach, but it seems to be coming on quite well. The other interesting aspect of this new piece is that it is neither erotica nor modern historical fiction. This untitled piece is set in 2550CE Athens Greece, the City States never ceased to exist and are still flourishing. Our protagonist (Eudoxia) is a learned man of means, thrown into public life, despite his timidity. From the small but affluent farming community of Corinth he leaves his family at 14 to study with the great master Kios. The story follows Eudoxia from this life transition as a youth through his midlife and public service.
I hope to be able to report more about the progress of this story soon, until then Happy Holidays!
